Samantha Ullyott FCA

Samantha's career began in 1991 when she started a training contract with a large independent practice in Hull. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in December 1995 and became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales in 2005.
Samantha has worked in all aspects of practice throughout her career including audit, accounts preparation, corporate taxation, self-assessment, VAT consultancy, payroll, budgets and forecasting. The five years of her career prior to starting her own practice in April 2006 were spent managing three rural offices for a large independent practice.

Kathy Harrison

Kathy began her career in accountancy in 1979, training with a small Chartered Accountants practice in Cleethorpes gaining experience in all aspects of the profession, specifically accountancy and tax return preparation, VAT, payroll and auditing.
In 1987 Kathy moved to the Hull based practice of HLB Kidsons (now Baker Tilly) where she worked as a senior in the business services department responsible for her own portfolio of clients, staff supervision and review of files.
Since 2003 Kathy has worked together with Samantha and is responsible for day to day office activities including managing the preparation of clients' accounts and tax returns.

Sharon Falkingham

Sharon provides payroll services to a number of our clients. She is a valuable member of the team and has been working in practice with Samantha since 2002.
She also has a number of her own clients for whom she carries out bookkeeping services on Sage, and in her spare time is a farm secretary.

Margaret Austin

Margaret joined the team in November 2006. She is an accountant who originally trained and qualified in Zimbabwe some years ago. She has vast experience of accounts preparation and came in to accountancy practice in the UK in 2003.
She works as part of the accounts preparation team at Ullyott and is also responsible for all VAT returns prepared by the practice on a quarterly basis.

Sally Nesfield

Sally joined Ullyott at the time as they relocated to 6 George Street in October 2006. She has worked in several local businesses carrying out administrative duties throughout her career.
Sally is the receptionist and secretary in the practice. As well as many other administrative roles she is also responsible for keeping up to date money laundering checks and authorisations for HM Revenue & Customs for all clients.

Liz Pickard

Liz joined Ullyott in April 2008 although she previously worked closely with Samantha at the same large independent practice in one of the rural offices. Liz had worked for that same practice for in excess of 30 years working on accounts preparation work, VAT returns and providing payroll services.
She currently works as part of the accounts preparation team at Ullyott and is also responsible for keeping letters of engagement up to date as part of the quality assurance in the office.

Nick Crozier

Nick joined the practice in March 2010. After graduating Nick began his career at Scarborough Building Society. He spent two years working at the Building Society, which latterly merged with Skipton Building Society. At the same time he continued his studies on a part time basis undertaking Accounting Technician qualifications.  
He is now working as a trainee accountant at Ullyott and is presently part of the accounts preparation team. He is continuing his studies undertaking final Accounting Technician qualifications in 2010.
